Coherence Lab: Benchmarking Near-Term Qubits
An open benchmarking effort characterizing noise and coherence across accessible quantum hardware to guide error-mitigation research.
About this project
Coherence Lab is building a reproducible, open suite of experiments that measure how real qubits decohere under realistic conditions. By publishing standardized results and tooling, we help students and researchers across the Wisconsin Quantum Alliance make informed decisions about error mitigation and algorithm design on noisy hardware.
What it delivers
- Open benchmarking toolkit for coherence & noise
- Shared datasets for the Wisconsin quantum community
- Hands-on curriculum for student researchers
