Using swarm intelligence to model and understand how quantum systems lose coherence, treating decoherence as emergent collective behavior.
About this project
This exploratory program applies swarm intelligence, the collective, emergent behavior of many simple agents, to the problem of quantum decoherence. By modeling a qubit's environment as a swarm of interacting agents, we search for interpretable, low-dimensional descriptions of how coherence decays under realistic noise. The goal is to complement physics-based models with data-driven, bio-inspired methods and to share both the tools and the negative results openly.
